About This Program

The Advanced Accounting graduate certificate presents material is relevant to advanced practice of accounting and includes knowledge tested on the CPA exam. The completed certificate may be applied to satisfy a portion of the course requirements for the Master of Science in Accounting degree.

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 3.000 GPA in accounting classes and 2.700 overall GPA on a 4.000-point scale
• Official transcript(s)
• English language proficiency - all international students must provide proof of English language proficiency (unless they meet specific exceptions) by earning one of the following:
  • Minimum 525 TOEFL PBT score
  • Minimum 71 TOEFL IBT score
  • Minimum 74 MELAB score
  • Minimum 6.0 IELTS score
  • Minimum 50 PTE score
  • Minimum 100 Duolingo English score

Graduates of this program will be able to:
