JAPN 25089 INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: JOURNEY TO JAPAN: PAST AND PRESENT (ELR) 3 Credit Hours
This course allows students to travel to Japan and learn important aspects of its culture and history. Students spend four days in Tokyo, four days in Kyoto and two days in Osaka and Nara. Through reading various Japanese texts, students gain insights into Japanese language, literature and culture. Although knowledge of Japanese is a great advantage, non-Japanese speakers are also invited to take this course since all the presentations and readings are in English.
