About This Program
The Aviation Maintenance Management Theory minor gives students the necessary knowledge and skills to understand the aspects of aviation maintenance from a management, leadership and communication perspective, strengthening their foundation as a professional in the aeronautics and aviation industries.

Admission Requirements
Admission to a minor is open to students declared in a bachelor’s degree, the A.A.B. or A.A.S. degree or the A.T.S. degree (not Individualized Program major). Students declared only in the A.A. or A.S. degree or the A.T.S. degree in Individualized Program may not declare a minor. Students may not pursue a minor and a major in the same discipline.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Integrate skills and knowledge essential to the management of aircraft maintenance programs with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Incorporate skills and knowledge needed to effectively lead and manage a team of people working in a maintenance repair organization.
